2007 REGULAR SEASON

The top 4 teams in each section still makes the playoffs regardless of division, though each of the division champs gets the top two seeds in their section.

Everyone anticipated this new season more than any other because of all of the changes to the league alignments and how much harder it will be to make it all the way to the 11E title game.

In AC, we were confident that the team would make it out of sim this year, because we were going down a level and were returning most of our squad.
South Greeley (10-4) won the Section 2 Western Division title and Superior (8-5-1) won the Eastern Division. Over in Section 1, Sunrise (9-4-1) claim the northern division crown and Dayton (7-5-2) squeaked out with the South Division title.

We finished 2nd in the West at 9-3-2 in our 1st year at the lower level. I think we'll be competitive in the postseason too, though we did lose to South Greeley twice in the regular season 25-20 at home and 28-17 during week 13 at their place.

But throw out all of the ordinary, because it's playoff time now.

SECTION 2 STATE SEMI-FINALS
(1W) South Greeley Scorpions def. (3W) Sinclair Dinos 19-10
(2W) Atlantic City 49ers vs. (1E) Superior Dragons (8-5-1)

So our playoff game is on the road against a team we had a better regular season record than in the Superior H.S. Dragons. We beat them 23-7 during the regular season, but that was on our home turf. This game will be played in NCAA12 now that the bracket is set.
